You will see the grasslands full of amazon animals.
On this trip you get picked up from La Paz/Coroico having a relaxed and organised start of the programme, most of the transfers are organised by us at those points where moving around is tricky, so that you can get easily on the bus to Rurre.
For these tours starting from Rurrenabaque, we use a third company. But always we are responsible for your booking and in the unlikely event there is a problem during the operations of the tour, we, Deep Rainforest is the one to fix or amend those problems, so feel free to let us know if there is a problem and be sure we will respond immediately.
Since the operations will be organised by a third Company, Deep Rainforest charges an additional cost, so do not expect to pay the same price as in Rurrenabaque.
We have arranged things so that you do not have to be in stress in between the tours (for those doing a Jungle Tour too) or before taking the bus back to La Paz. For instance, the tours finish around 14:00 and buses back to La Paz leave at 19:00, we will provide a nice hostel where you can spend that time by the swimming pool, hammocks or using wifi until it is time to go the bus terminal.
PROGRAMME.–
1st Day
PICK UP FROM LA PAZ
16:30 pick up from your hotel in La Paz. We will take you to the Bus stop.
18:30 Departure from La Paz
PICK UP FROM COROICO
19:30 Pick up from your hotel in Coroico (20-30 min drive to the crossroads)
An operator of Deep Rainforest will take you to the crossroads called Yolosita where you will be dropped off at the Police check post. Buses coming from La Paz have to stop there to check in with the Police. It is there where you have to wait for the Bus and get on the Bus.
The bus will pass by at any time after 20:30, so we will ask you to be patient. To make sure you get on the right bus, we will send to your whatsapp a photo of the bus, with all the details like plate number, driver’s name and name of the company.
2nd day.-
Buses arrive in Rurrenabaque after 07:00. There are toilets and places where to eat at the bus terminal. Your tour will start 09:00 a.m. from Rurrenabaque so some minutes after 09:00 a.m. our operator will pick you up from the bus terminal to start your Pampas tour.
Pampas.-
09:00 a.m. pick up from hotel or bus terminal. 2.5 hrs drive to the river.
09:30 Departure in car.
12:00 Arrive in Santa Rosa. Lunch
13:30 15 min drive to the river
14:00 Boat upstream to the camp 3 hrs. from here you will start seeing lots of animals
17:00 Arrival at the camp.
18:30 Sunset. If sunny, we will take you to a nice spot to see the Sunset in the Pampas
19:00 Dinner
20:30 Night ride on the boat. This night ride is to look for caymans floating in the water.
3rd Day
06:00 a.m. Those wanting to have a surreal experience can wake up very early in order to see the beautiful Sunrise and listen to the sounds of the animals waking up
Anaconda search in the morning. We will walk in the swamp and rubber boots will be provided.
Pink dolphin search in the afternoon
Piranha fishing
4th Day
08:30 Boat back to the port
12:00 Lunch in Santa Rosa
13:30 Drive back to Rurre.
14:00-15:00 Arrive in Rurre.
You will be dropped off at a Hostel where you will be able to use the hummocks, wi fi, showers and swimming pool until it is time to go to the bus terminal. Drinks or food are not included at the hostel.
18:30 Now it is time to go to the Bus Terminal that is just 10 min away. Please take a taxi on the street or tell the receptionist to call one for you.
19:00 (12 Hrs)Bus back to La Paz. Your seat is ensured on the Semi Cama Bus, If there is a full cama bus on that day and you want to upgrade the bus to come back to La Paz you will have to pay additional 7 usd. Let your organiser in La Paz know about it as soon as you arrive at the hostel in Rurrenabaque. Your La Paz organiser will give you the options if available.

Transfer to Bus stop in La Paz/Coroico, Bus ticket La Paz/Rurre, transport to/from the port, boat, guide, cook, meals: 2B-3L-2D, accommodation 2 nights at the camp shared room.
Swimming pool, hammocks, wifi, showers at Hostel to spend the time until it is time to go to the bus terminal.
Not included.-
Meals on bus trip, meals drinks at Hostel until bus departure from Rurre, transfer to bus stop in Rurre, drinks, water, tips. Accommodation if you will continue staying in Rurre. Entrance fee 150 Bs.
