Jungle Trek - 4 to 25 days from La Paz, Apolo or Rurrenabaque
We are very glad you have landed on this page. Following you will find some directions in order to find the best Jungle Tour for you, suitable to your physical and mental conditions. When we say physical we are definitely talking about resistance, muscle mass and training conditions, according to that you may want to experience hiking in the Jungle for 3 or 4 days which will give you the sense of having done something that besides being unexplored it was a reachable goal. In comparison if you have resistance and good muscle mass we can also provide a hard but short trekking programme which could demand more of you physically. Some people can have little time for a trek rather than others who have all the time.
When we say mental conditions, we mostly talk about people that has been training for a while physically and also mentally, it is not the same a person who has been hiking once a month or even once a year rather than that person who is at least twice a month hiking, this person will be more prepared mentally.
Said that, and according to your time, physical and mental conditions, we can offer you treks from 4 to 25 days and maybe more days, it is all on you, we have treks on which we have to get to Rurrenabaque first , Apolo or just a starting point 5 or 6 hours away from La Paz.

TREKS FROM RURRENABAQUE
Duration:
Minimum 4 days from Rurrenabaque, add 2 nights from La Paz. Can be extended to 5-6-7 days.

Madidi National Park, Pilon Lajas
Access
We reach Madidi by car
Pilon Lajas only by small boat

Loading system
This chapter is referred to what you are going to carry, that will depend on your physical conditions. Normally all the weight is shared among the guides and participants. If you don’t want to carry anything but your small day bag, we can include an extra porter, even though you must bring no more than what is needed, that is, no more than 10 kilos. That has an impact on the price as well.
Suitability
According to your physical conditions, you can choose:
- Easy trek: 40% physical demand
- Moderate: 60% physical demand
- Extreme: 90-100% physical demand
Included:
Bus to & from La Paz, boat or cars needed to reach starting points, all meals once we enter the jungle, camping equipment: foam mattress- sleeping bag- mosquito nets- plastic for floor and roof, guide/cook, porters: 1 every 2 clients, machete.
Not included:

8 DAY JUNGLE TREK
Duration:
Minimum 8 days from Rurrenabaque, add 2 nights from La Paz. Can be extended to 10 days.

We reach Madidi by car or by small boat when we go to another section of the Park
