At this moment there is a lack of US dollars in Bolivia which created a parallel  market for US dollars. That  makes almost impossible to receive or send us dollars outside of the country at the rate of the parallel market. We only receive transferences or payments online at the official rate making the price of the tourist product be a lot  more expensive, how?

Prices are adjusted to the daily rate of the parallel market. That is if a product costs 100Usd, in bolivianos would cost at least 950 Bs instead of 686 which is the official rate. To reach the real cost we would have to charge you 138 usd. That is 38% more. And this is happening to all the economy.
Also for you to withdraw Bs will be a lot higher than it used to be.
That is why we recommend you to bring to Bolivia cash Euros or American Dollars to pay us.

So in order to ensure your place on our tours you will only be asked to pay online a 5 or 10% and the balance be payable in cash in Euros or US dollars.
