  2. Avoid dodgy imitators that have performed little variations to the name like TO RURRE BY BOAT  or BY BOAT TO RURRE.  Look for the sign BOAT TO RURRENABAQUE  with the Cayman logo.
  3. Only Deep Rainforest has been departing every single week “Non Stop” since 2004 and we can prove it with our lists for each departure.
  4. Only Deep Rainforest IS STILL RUNNING THE TOUR AND RUNS IT ALL YEAR LONG.
  5. Ask for a meeting, zoom/meet call with our guides to learn more about your Tour.

  1. REASON ONE.  This jungle tour starts directly from La Paz or Coroico and can be combined with the “World’s Most Dangerous Road” bike tour on the first day, saving you a day of travel. No need to go to Rurre first!

  3. REASON THREE You don’t need to do another Jungle tour, THIS IS A JUNGLE TOUR.
  4. REASON FOUR If you want to do a Pampas Tour after the Boat Tour you’ll be able to do it with no problem because by the end of this fantastic tour you’ll be already in Rurrenabaque.
  5. REASON FIVE This is the only Jungle Tour on which you will see and walk in all the layers of South America, from the Andes we will go through all the layers of the Cloud and Rainforest. All in just 4 days.
  6. REASON SIX  No other tour in South America will take you through 5 steep sided Jungle Canyons.

PROGRAMME

We’re reverting to the Original Service (transport by public bus) on 1st day.

Following a Trip Advisor review of May/2024 and personal feedback of our clients, we decided to insert the service of taxis (small cars for 6 people) on the first day of transport instead of the public Bus.

The amendment, intended to improve the service, led to unexpected issues such as speeding drivers, overcrowding, high temperatures and discomfort, leaving passengers exhausted and unhappy. It ultimately performed worse than the bus option, failing to meet customer expectations. That’s why we reverted to the original service on day of transport.

WHY WE TAKE THIS LESS-THAN-IDEAL TRANSPORT TO REACH THIS NON VISITED AREA OF MADIDI NATIONAL PARK?

Most tours to Madidi National Park start in Rurrenabaque, a tourist village on the park’s edge, and often only cover nearby rainforest areas without fully entering the park. Unlike others, our tours access a pristine, less-visited part of Madidi, offering a truly unique experience. While reaching these breathtaking destinations may require some effort and less-than-ideal transport, the journey is worth it!

4 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD ENDURE THE BAD TRASNPORTATION ON THE DAY OF TRANSPORT

  1. REMOTE LOCATIONS ONLY SEEN BY YOU First day of river navigation will start early and after 5 hrs on the boat, you will be in Madidi Park
  1. THE JOURNEY AS PART OF THE ADVENTURE Though the transport might be challenging, sometimes the journey itself can be part of the experience and these moments can make the destination feel even more special once you arrive.
  1. EXCLUSIVE ACCESS To Jungle Canyons and pristine Rainforest: Because it’s harder to reach, fewer people visit these places and not all the tour operators go that far. We are actually the only ones!
  1. WORTH THE EFFORT While the transport and hostel might not be perfect on day 1, the reward on the next 3 days is worth it.

Sometimes, reaching the most beautiful places requires a little extra effort and a bit of mental patience.  We strongly believe the destination will more than make up for it!

Our goal is to reach the very special protected zone, free from mining activities; where the river remains in its natural state, untouched by industrial interventions, making it a place of great ecological value. Along the way, we’ll see striking contrasts between areas affected by mining and those that have been preserved. So let’s take this opportunity to observe, reflect, and gain a deeper understanding of the importance of conserving these spaces.
