Kothia – Tuni 3days
(Good for climbing Condoriri & Pequeño Alpamayo)
Lake Kothia is where our ancestors used to go for rituals. Some used to walk even 300 kms just to taste the healing water. Now you can see it and feel it, a place full of magnetism.
Good for those wanting to get well acclimatised.
1st day.- 08:00 pick up from the Hotel. 3 ½ min drive to the starting point. The starting point is just a couple of houses and there’s where we arrange donkeys for you expedition. That means that for your entire Tour, you will only carry a small day pack with your water and Camera. Free time after arriving for you to enjoy this extremely isolated area.
14.30 We will start walking after lunch from 4.100 to 4.700 3 hrs walk
2nd day.-Mountains and Mountains. Untamed Altiplano. One of the good things of this Trek is that it is less visited so that you can see the area is kind of untouched. The Andes is your guardian and at the end of the day you will be very happy of having had a day full of effort. Hard but nice. Camp by the lake. 5 – 7 hrs walk
3rd day.-3 hours walk to Tuni Condoriri Lake. By this time you will be well acclimatised to undertake a climbing programme like Pequeño Alpamayo or condoriri. Drive to La Paz for those who have only taken the trek.
Those who have chosen to climb Condoriri or Pequeño Alpamayo will continue on walking 3 more hours to the base of Condoriri or Pequeño Alpamayo. Camping by Black Lagoon.
*Times for departures, meals and activities may vary as they depend on different factors. The guide will tell the group every morning about the day programme.

18 people max. 01 min. per group.(1 guide every 6 people)
2 nights accommodation in tents, camping mattress, local guide, meals 2 B – 3 L – 2 D, Public transport La Paz-Tuni – La Paz, mules/donkeys 10 kgs weight limit per person.
*Walking sticks, purification pills, *sleeping bag, water, *water bottle, drinks, cigarettes, snacks, entrance fee-50 Bs, tips.
*Some items not included can be rented from our company.
AVAILABLE: English Speaking guide or translator (additional 25 usd to be paid by the whole group, not per person) when ever we have one request for English Speaking guide or translator, the rest of the group will pay for it.
PORTERS, MULES, DONKEYS?
If you have more luggage than our weight limit (10 kg), you will have to hire another mule at an extra cost. Extra pack animal 15 usd per day
Our guide is the cook at the same time
Big meals are breakfast and dinner. We provide massive sandwiches for lunch though.
Veggie food is a step better than basic.
You must bring all of what you can for the entire programme.
